  • Forms of work: household servant, servitude, industrial work, family work, work in the streets, military service, and sexual exploitation

Proposed Educational Scenario

  1. Review the concept of child labour exploitation
  2. Ask the students if they know any of the various forms of child labour exploitation
  3. Present Karim, a young boy from Bangladesh who works in a brick yard, and who will help them learn about the various forms of child labour exploitation through the activity "What Do Working Children Do?"
  4. Give the students the internet address in order to directly access the educational activity:

During the on-line activity the students will be asked to:

  • Distinguish the different forms of child labour exploitation with the help of case studies
  • To locate, with the help of an atlas, the countries mentioned in the case studies
  1. Take the students' comments about the on-line activity
  2. Conclude by defining the different forms of child labour exploitation
